The body is very solid and straight with mostly original paint and wonderful patina, the hood and front fenders are finished in primer but I believe they are original to the car. What little rust there was on the body and floors has been replaced with metal
Recently purchased from an estate sale.
I never met the previous owner of this Mustang but I understand he was a very skilled amateur car builder and restorer, his friends referred to him as “Swede” as an homage to his Viking/Swedish heritage. Swede bought this Mustang from a seller in Florida sometime in the 1980’s, it was driven on occasion then taken off the road about 15 years ago to start the restoration, over the years he worked on it between other projects and planed on finishing it when he retired.
This Mustang could be driven and enjoyed the way it sits or you could finish the restoration. This would be an excellent candidate for an Eleanor, Bullitt or a Resto-Mod build.
